OK, I broke a long standing rule of mine today, and upgraded a software application on the day it launched.

    And I got burnt.

Many of the Addons which I rely upon (and most importantly the RoboForm menu bar) don't work in the new version.

Oh well, Hopefully I can roll back to the previous version.
And wait until the new release settles down, and addons are upgraded.

EDIT: in case anyone needs it, v2.0.0.14 isd available from
    http://www.brothersoft.com/firefox-download-111811.html

(Couldn't find anything earlier than 3.0 on the firefox site)

Harsh, yeah sadly not all that stuff comes out as quickly as the browser itself. I would let it go for a few months personally till i upgrade.

I was lucky, only a few add-ons perished in the upgrade.  One importnat one for me was lost but it is easily replaced by google's toolbar I guess.

A lot of my add-ons were visual ones like a theme called "FoxDie Blue" and the rounded URL/search boxes.

Eric - One of my people warned me against this very issue.

Coincidentally, it was one of the people you rejected big_smile

Yes, I train them well before I send them on. lol
The rest of my people warned me about it too - but I didn't listen.

(P.S. That guy is also an expert in making those artery clogging breakfasts you are so fond of.

I only eat like that 6 or 7 times a week. It keeps my strength up.

Fortunately, the only one I regularly use that hasn't been updated yet is del.icio.us. Unfortunately, I use that one a LOT, so I'm hoping they get it done very soon. Preferably yesterday. smile

    ETA: Yay! It's up!
