  1. It is always advisable to dress in layers when you are outside in the snow,
  2. It is also good if you buy your equipment and clothes if you think you are going to use it again and if you just visit and experience snow you might consider renting at the ski resort you are going to.
  3. Call the place where are you going to ski, get information as to the weather and study the map too if you can. Consider that it is waremer in the afternoon and of course colder in the morning.
  4. Try to secure a map to the place where you are going so that you can familiarize with the place and know where not to go
  5. Dress appropriately -- important clothes you need are: ski boots, ski jacket, gloves, goggles, scarves, gloves, thin socks, T shirts, long sleeves, thermal underwear (if you must) should be appropriate. Choose materials which are water proofed, so that you will not be soaked in water.
  6. Buy equipment if you think, you are going to use them again, invest on them like ski and ski poles. Don’t rent out in the place if you can because you might not be comfortable with the equipment there.
  7. It takes time to learn and be patient, once you know and feel the hang of it you can go to the top of the mountain already, because it is dangerous if you fall off
  8. Always protect yourself and get a travel insurance
  9. Before slotting your planks on you should get used to the feel of your boots and then you might want to take a walk with them and test if you are comfortable with them.
  10. You should protect tour skin from the harsh cold and the sun as well, get moisturizers and lotion
  11. Be sure to wear waterproof gloves, ski jackets or wind breaker
