Have you ever visited Tenerife in the Canary Islands and if so what did you like or dislike about the place?
I was in playa americos about 7 years ago for a lads holiday. It was pretty dirty then and had a funny smell to it. Great holiday though!
I choose to live here in Tenerife so on balance I have to say I like it. I love the mountains and the natural landscape, I like the food and I like the weather.
I dislike Playa de Las Americas, but I suppose if I was a clubber looking for a Club 18-30 holiday, I'd think it was the best place in the world next to Ibiza.
I was in Tenerife in the Canary Islands 30 years ago, we sailed around the world for two years at that time, one of our stops was there. You can check out my brief blog on it. I loved the island then, it was so full of naturall beauty and friendly people. We stayed for about three weeks and we toured the island on bicycles. It is a truly amazing place.
