About security: Will be in Bangkok alone. Your best tip to deal with "aggressive" prostitutes?
Seemorebangkok, more attention needs to be focussed on personal safety for first-time travellers to Bangkok. You know when I was in Patong 2, I was nearly "emasculated" when a young male prostitute angrily grabbed and squeezed my testicles. I was shocked that a boy so young and so "harmless-looking" could do that. I admit I pushed the boy down to get him away from me, but the kid took it offensively. How could I deal with something like this if I am confronted again the next time I am in Bangkok? Police presence was not apparent that evening, by the way. Thanks Seemorebangkok!
I've been to Bangkok many times. Have been through the red light districts as a matter of curiousity, never as a customer (not my style) and have never had any problems. Street smarts work well anywhere and everywhere you travel the world over.
