In your opinion what would be the economic effect of the hostage taking incident that happened...
in the Philippines?
The economic effect is not a big deal really because only about 4% of tourist are coming from Hong Kong.But hatred is the big deal that we Filipinos will endure because latest hateful diatribes is now on going in the world wide web.In fact Chinese hatred towards the Filipinos has long been happening and one particular place is the VHF Radio mounted in all sea going vessels.The Chinese can be heard bad-mouthing Filipino seamen through VHF radio uninterruptedly.Their favorite word is "Filipino Monkey" and other racist comments using their own language.

Is the Media partly responsible for the economic crisis?Shouldn't newspapers and television be held accountable for speculative information that is damaging economy even further? What can we do? Perhaps boycott them?
