Difficult to answer this question. But one may keep these facts in mind.
(a) Even with trained guides and adequate knowledge about the conditions (better now than before), out of 4000 people attempted to climb it, only 660 could reach the summit
(b) Min Bahadur Sherchan at the age of 77 could reach the summit on his first attempt; oldest person to achieve so far.
(c) Jordan Romero was the youngest climber (13 years) to reach the summit on 22 May 2010.
(d) Erik Weihenmayer was the first blind climber to conquer Mount Everest in 2001.
(e) 219 people have died so far in their attempt
