Which 5 must-sees and 5 less known sites would you recommend when visiting London?
Hey there, I'd love to visit London, but I never got a chance too, something always came up (trains stopped working, volcano’s erupted, friends cancelled,...) But I made up my mind to go, by myself if I have to, as soon as I have the time, which will be February or summer. Say you had to pick 5 absolute must-sees and 5 things you'd recommend personally (which are less generally visited) as a 'connoisseur', which sites would it be?
The big 5:
1. London Eye
2. Buckingham Palace
3. Houses of Parliament
4. Trafalgar Square
5. St Paul's Cathedral
My Personal 5
1. The Haywain at the National Portrait Gallery, Trafalgar Sq (it's Free!)
2. Attend the MPs in session in the Public Gallery at the houses of Parliament
3.Travel by river boat
4. Thames Barrier
5. Tate Modern.
