I live in my favorite place, Southern California.  It has everything, the blue waters of the Pacific Ocean, great weather with highs seldom above 90 and lows seldom below 45, beautiful scenery, mountains and wilderness areas for hiking, skiing and adventure. Activities of every imaginable kind, great museums, amusement parks, and every form of entertainment .  One does not have to drive too far to find just what form of entertainment they are looking for.  I feel lucky to live in my favorite place

Where the people I care about are. Although characteristics like a place being sunny and having a beach are wonderful, it can be pretty boring and even lonely if you don't have people you care about to share it with. After living in a number of places around the US and the world, I've realized that I CAN live anywhere, but my favorite place is where my people are.

ON the outside, the rural, the unthought of, the untrampeled, the unhurried........

I am simply content to be........without much fanfare.

Let me be, in my garden , in the pasture, under the shade tree, with my clothes hanging on the line, with my dog running freely, on my hammock enjoying the afternoon sun.............let me quietly, on the outskirts.

Allow me, the right to pop in and speak freely from time to time.  I WILL do this very thing.  It is quite simply, the nature of being me.
