A motel is a type of hotel that is specifically designed to cater to the traveling motorist: they contain parking lots, they located roadside or near major motorways, and are typically designed in low blocks with the parking directly outside of the rooms.

Mainly hotels and motels differs in three terms:
    1. Hotels are situated amid of a city or near to tourist places/business places, but most of the motels are situated at highways or outskirts of villages and cities.
    2. In architecture, hotels are large whereas motels are small with a number of rooms in a line or L shape with a car parking space in front of each room.
    3. Hotels provide services more than just boarding, like food restaurant, bar, etc. But Motels are for travelers to just spend night during their journey.
