How difficult is it to get a tourist visa to visit the United States?
We have invited my wife's brother in Russia to visit us in the United States for a ten day vacation in the Southwest together. It took me a little effort to get a visa to visit my wife's family in Russia last summer (my wife is an American citizen with both American and Russian passports so she didn't need a visa for the trip) and I am wondering how much red tape he will have to go through to visit the U.S.
I have some horrible experience in getting a tourist visa to visit the United States. In 1996, my visa was rejected two times after telling my genuineness and proof. Actually, I could not convince them to get my US visa. After that, I stopped to think about visiting US again.
