If the teachers in Newtown, Connecticut had been armed, what difference might it have made?

No. It wouldn't have made a difference.  Policemen are armed. They get killed and shot, too.  It's just a senseless act that happened.  Very sad.

since the shooter's mom was a teacher there, he would most likely have known that there was a teacher who carried a gun. this said, that teacher would have been the first on the shooter's hit list which means another dead body. secondly i would hate to think that teachers carry guns at school as it shows kids that carrying a gun is a good thing.

What is wrong with a law abiding citizen carrying a gun?

what is the need to carry a gun especially in a school.do you really want to live in a country where even teachers are carrying? do you think that will help with violence?

None. It's not the gun; it's the finger that pulled the trigger.
