Any suggestions on where to stay in Cocoa Beach, Florida?
I am planning a 10-year wedding anniversary trip with the kiddos to Florida. We are going to do a day at Disney and at Universal Studios so we don't want to stay at a Disney resort. We want to be on the beach and close to Kennedy Space Center. Looking for highly recommended hotels or resorts to stay at!! Thank you for any suggestions!!!!
I've been to Cocoa Beach several times, but stayed there only once. I will NEVER stay there again. There was an extreme amount of crime throughout the area, and we never felt very safe. As a matter of fact, we even left a day early because of it, and my husband does not scare easily. Another time when we went with a large group just for the day, we all looked out for one another. We had a lot of high school students with us, and a few younger siblings. All of the adults were highly aware of the people around us, and even had to run off a jewelry vendor who was carrying his wares in a beach towel. Sorry, I love KSC, but I am definitely not a fan of Cocoa Beach.
cravingsdelivered, I have know idea what I did where I can't comment on your response.... Anyways, thank you!! We are driving and have actually decided to spend the first four nights at a Disney resort while we do Disney stuff. Instead of Cocoa Beach we decided to hit the Clearwater/Tampa area. We are pretty laidback and are just looking to spend some time on the beach. Any suggestions on where to stay in Clearwater?
