Was your weather forecast wrong today?

Yesterday, I watched the weather to find out how to plan.  We were supposed to get no more than 1" of snow today.  This morning, I woke up to a new forecast predicting 4-8" and schools cancelled.  So much for planning out my day.

Not as far as I know. I open the Weather Channel on the Internet. You place your zip to choose your city/area and it gives you a local forecast. I bookmark it and check it off and on. Here is the link: http://www.weather.com/

Thank you!  I watched the TV version last night and it was so wrong.  I had my whole day planned around an inch of snow.  We ended up with about 8-10 inches. LOL

I listen to the radio give a broadcast for another city and check my computer for my city and it is totally different - all of the time.

Not sure about today but they are wrong quite often. Half the time I think they guess or spin a wheel to see what they'll tell us smile I never trust the weather forecasters.

They are forecasting ice for Wednesday.  I don't know whether to believe them now or not.  Hopefully we'll just get rain.

The weather forecast for today was spot on. We were supposed to get rain to break up the heat and we got rain. Of course weather patterns and readings might be different in the northern hemisphere.

It's always good to get rain to break up the heat!  We had one of the hottest summers on record last July.  Now we're having a very cold and snowy January.

Its funny as the weather forecast was often wrong in Australia but here in Britain it is mostly right especially when they say it is going to rain !

Does it not rain almost 90% of the time there?
