The first time I flew in this airline, I was impressed. The second time, we paid $700 for excess luggage from Maldives.

I like Philippine Airlines because it takes me home quicker like in 13 to 14 hours if I take the straight flight home. I quite like the Kuwait Airlines as well, I just don't like the waiting at stopovers.

I agree with you about wait times in airports but with big hubs now, they're almost inevitable.

Singapore Airlines!  They serve the best bread.  And during transit, you can stay in Singapore airport and have a foot massage by one of the machines scattered all over the lobbies.  Heaven!

I've always been an Air France fan... friendly service with good onboard amenities. Favorite U.S. airline might have to be JetBlue. They have a limited network but their planes are clean, seats very comfortable, with free satellite TV and Wifi - unfortunately, that's changing. They have affordable fares, too.

I have not really flown Air France or JetBlue. One of these days, I have to try them.

My favorite airline is Cathay Pacific , I traveled from Bombay to Singapore.
I found on board service was customer friendly.

Singapore Airlines - Service, reliability, entertainment, fantastic hub (Singapore Changi), safe and fantastic catering. And that is only in Economy Class...just think what Business and First must offer!
Close, Cathay Pacific, Air New Zealand, Malaysia Airlines, British Airways and Lufthansa

You are right. Singapore is top. You pay for that kind of service. It is often more expensive.
