Not traveled Antarctica, Centro Africa and southern parts of Africa. Travel still often, not up to date on half of the places. Maybe I'm able to give you a rough guidelines where you are going.
...tell me your thoughts about Ecuador.
I may retire there.
Haven't made the trip there yet.
After being robbed 3 times in Columbia, I got stuck for 5 weeks wiring and waiting for money in Quito Ecuador. I ran for a bus over 3 blocks and almost pass out from the thin air, because it’s the second highest city in the world.
The people are a lot more peaceful than in Columbia. The Mountain range and sea are really beautiful. Had a girlfriend from there, her father show me their farm? His employee were given a peace of land to live on and only got paid $1 a day for 6 days a week.
From Ecuador Tourism system is a well developed business which avails travel packages to Galapagos Islands and Ecuador. Along its mountainous areas, features rain forest vegetation of the region. Coupled with the multicultural population. Galapagos has the friendliest and varies concentrate varies of animals on the planet, just watch out for the Komodo dragon.
It was voted in the top ten Countries in the world to retire, a wonderful choice.
Thanks Castle:
I have to make a trip to Ecuador next year. :-)
Interesting, i have totally different wexperience with Colombia, felt 150 % safe everywhere , even in Bogota at 2 am, or cartagena, Armenia,Pasto, Santa Marta.etc. Haven't been to Ecuador, but other travellers had bad experience - bus robberies supposed to be very common.

Welcome to HubPages! Travel tips make great hubs! Why not write a hub about some of your favorite places? Many of us would enjoy reading about your adventures and all of insider tips from someone who has been there.
KCC
A teenage girl wanted to hear my entire life story once.
When I finished telling her my story, she said that my life sound like Forrest Gump. So my travel adventure will be a challenge to design it to make more sense. Give me some time on that one.
One thing can be said, there is no other experience that has come close, to opening up the mind.
depends, what sort of tips do you wish to share? I could share tips on how to avoid being eaten by a crocodile in the northern territory!
First, dont swim where there are signs saying crocodiles, do not swim here.
Second, check with locals or experienced tour guide staff who know the particular area.
Thirdly, if you think it might be a risky place to swim, dont!
It’s wise to talk with the locals where ever you go and check out the most frequent dangers around. Crocodiles will eat you in places like Australia and Africa. I've been in a few places in Central and South America where 14 foot Crocks lay on the banks sunning themselves wail kids are swimming. The reason they don't eat them is they are full and hunt at night.
I've been bitten by snakes, mugged by 40 monkeys; chase by a Komodo dragon and by far the most dangerous creature of all are bugs. If I combined all the MOST dangerous animal experience together, the local bus is WORST!
Well, means you can write quite exciting hubs based on your experience.
Cheers,
Nikipa
You have lots of interesting stories !!What tips can you give me on staying on a small
budget in Spain & greece ?
Like very much Southern Spain for sunshine and the sea, its lowest budget wise. Northern Spain mountains range and people look beautiful with a French mixture.
Personally I love Greece it’s almost a surreal place for the sea, land, history and culture, don’t know budget wise since their Country went into bankruptcy.
I imagine it’s not too bad

Can ask any question you have.
You can write many extraordinary stories based on your biography! Definitely you've enountered a lot of people and situations that a lot of people have not experienced. A good starting point for a great number of hubs here.
Now THAT's a life well led. Mind you, in the numbers of countries visited you beat me - no question of that.
Welcome to hubpages. I look forward to reading a hub from you though.
From one traveler to another.
You seem to be a travel enthusiast. I have never traveled out of my country and you have visited almost all parts of the world. I am excited to know more from you. I love the country of New Zealand. Hope to visit it one day. Any tips on New Zealand tour would be helpful for me.
sid_candid: To be very honest, I just wrote a hub on how to travel in New Zealand with carry-on luggage only. That could be interesting if you decide to venture abroad and to travel with not much luggage (which is what travel experience teaches many).
Well from your story I know you got a good grasp of things in Australia and the few places I have been. What a fantastic and exciting life!
It is wonderful to hear about your travels and encounters.
Acid changed my life as well. I started another business and found out a lot about myself.
I have been thoroughly entertained reading this summary and agree you should write hubs about it, or perhaps a book or both if you have time.
I feel I know you a little better after this and our conversations on forums.
You rock!
Thanks for your interest.
I'll work on a hub: My trip around the World in two parts.
You could write a hub about every part of the world! I'd love to read stuff like that. You can compare and find best and worst of it. It will be fascinating I am sure. By the way, are you from Canada originally? Which part of Canada do you like the most?
Wow that's a lot! I hope i get to travel to places you've been as well. I agree, you should write about your travels here. I'm sure lots of people would love to read about it. Hope you get to travel more!
My unreal job as a sandsculpture, make me go everywhere, man. No time to cut my hair, man. Thats more than fair, man.

The last time I was in Thailand it was in early 90s for a short time, So, I don't know much about Thailand housing, just know there are a fantastic housing deal in some the northern border countries,
Thailand very rich in color, culture, landscape and food is most outstanding. It was one the biggest sex slave countries in the world, I don’t how much that has changed
Over all much more pro's than con's
Sorry if you've already answered this but there were so many replies I thought I'd just ask again!
Have you been to Berne in Switzerland? Could you give me any recommendations on places to stay? I'm going for some solo R&R and someone suggested the Pergola Hotel. Do you know it? I'm looking for something homely and comfortable.
Forgot to answer this one. Mainly stayed at hostels because I am cheap.
Well that's a fine how do you do. Five years after he overspent during his visit. Thanks to you. You should send him a check. Or, at the very least, an apology note.
Offer advice and then don't give it in a timely manner. What were you thinking?
Sorry, just forgot.
I try to answer everyone if it's important. Going to be travelling a lot soon, it's time to share again.

I only came back to Hubpages because I could not find anyone the first time, who cares if a million children were killed the Middle East. Now I can hardly find anyone who even cares if the American dollars collapses and millions of Americans will die too. If American don't even respect themselves,...

Hey guys, put yourself in my shoes for a sec here. I know its hard as hell, but just try. How would you feel if someone was spreading abominable stuff about your country? Stuff you know for a fact isn't true. How do you know it isn't true? Well, for starters, you live in the country, and something...
