Cruises, as we know, are exciting methods of vacationing. You can eat food with reckless abandon, watch glitzy shows, and see new worlds!

Thus, I invite you to name your favorite cruise line and explain why!

For me, it's Disney Cruise Line. You can hardly be bored on the ships because of the numerous things to do. It's perfect for those who don't believe in gambling because they have no casinos. No casinos!

The best thing about it is that all the ships have characters who pop up even where you wouldn't expect them to appear. I even saw Captain Hook and Mr. Smee in the fitness center while exploring the Disney Wonder in 2008!

    What's your favorite?

My favorite is Seabourne! Small, about 250 passengers, and plenty of luxury. We have taken a Disney Cruise with the children years ago, but if you want to go on a cruise without your children, I suggest Seabourne. When we boarded it was like walking into a five star hotel! Great service, food, and the cabins are spectacular! We had a very different experience on a smaller ship.

...big_smile..i'll have to check out the redneck cruise line...big_smile

....hmmmmmm....i have this thing about cruises...just can't bring myself to do it...i'd feel too confined on my vacation...i need more stimulation...i might be compelled to 'jump ship' somewhere and stay awhile and miss the boat as it leaves port....sailing off with my clothes...so it wouldn't be a good option for me...big_smile

I like Royal Caribbean the most because at present they have the two biggest cruise ships afloat - the Oasis (which I wrote about) and its twin sister ship, the Allure.
Best entertainment, best food, best service, etc. etc.

There are some new cruise lines just recently commissioned...but at present, from my research, I like the Norwegian and the Oasis of the Seas from Royal Caribbean. Incredible to look at them bearing down on the camera....
