   It is. Many people go there for "sex tourism", but if you avoid those beaten paths, and go down to islands, you get absolutely stunning nature and extremely friendly people. And don't even get me started on food

   Oh yeah Julianna, green curry! You can have any kind of meat/fish/vegetable in it. But it's extremely hot by American measures, don't even think about eating there if you can't stand spicy food
   
   And no, sorry, I don't cook so no recipes from me

   Misha - I totally agree with you - Thailand is so beautiful - actually, I was quite fascinated by Patpong Street too

   Summer in the region of Le Marche, Italy. Loads of undiscovered hilltop villages and towns, total sunshine with the ocasional thunderstorm every 3 weeks, fantastic food and excellent wine but -- and best of all, the wonderful Italians.
   
   It is relatively inexpensive and will give you some great memories.
