   Would you eat Goat?  Or have you eaten goat?
   
   Goat (Chevon, Cabrito) is the most widely consumed meat in the world, yet it goes largely ignored in the United States.  In pounds of consumption Goat ranks number 4 behind pork, beef and chicken.

   I get goat meat from my local farmer's market, organically and sustainably raised.  It's delicious and lower in fat content than beef.

   I only ate goat when I was in Kenya.  I actually learned how to kill it and prepare it myself.  It was very good.  It takes like pork or deer.  Very delicious.  I wonder why more people don't eat it in the US.

   Yup. I have a mini-mancha x boer doe that will be churning out some goat meat next year.
   
   Her mum is a milk goat and is for making more milkers, milk, and milk products.
   
   Easy to raise a goat, and cheap too. Very good choice for sustainability.

   I ate a fair share of goat in Iraq. The people were polite. If I just hinted that I was hungry, they would have a quick "goat grab" and we'd be eating in no time. I liked it. I even ate the brain once--tasted like fishy Jello. It's not as good as lamb though.

   I have eaten goat in the past and found it delicious. I do not see it around in the marketplaces here in the US or would probably eat it more often.

   Funny my brother, sister, and I were having this discussion yesterday. Apparently they had goat before and said it was gamy but once getting past the initial taste of that, my sister said it was good. I ventured forth with the goat cheese which is also gamy but has a smooth taste to it.

   Yes, I would eat goat.  I've heard, I don't know if it's true, but I've heard that pepperoni is made out of goat meat.  Is this true?

   I have had goat but was not fond of the taste. Our neighbors barbecued it and it didn't help that it was freshly butchered and the head was staring at me while I ate....
