She Will Rise

   There's a young girl sitting still and silent on her bed. While memories of yesterdays run through her head. She was mistreated and doesn't understand why. All she knows is she want's to cry.
   
     She has asked questions and no answers was she been given. Sometimes she wonders, why she's even living. So many thought's go through her mind. She wants to leave those thoughts far behind.
   
   But how does she forget the slaps and the beatings, also finding out that on her mom her dad has been cheating. The night's of her parents in a drunken stupor, have left her feeling like they don't really love her.
   
   If she ran she wonders where she would go. She doesn't want to tell anyone because of the shame she carries on her. How will anyone help her if she doesn't reach out, but she doesn't want anyone to touch her.
   
   She has experienced the touch of a supposedly family friend in wrongful places. She can't stand to even see their faces. it's not her fault she sits and thinks. As she stairs into space without even a blink.
   
   Why she wonders was her dad was so mad. And she thinks about her mom who always seemed so sad.
   
   But God you'll give her the answers she's been seeking for. And she will know you want to free her from this life that has held her captive. You God, see her heart and you know she feels like her world had been torn apart. God give her strength to get through each and everyday. Let her feel your love and comfort her as she turns to you and from her old ways. For God you truly love her and you will deliver her from her pain. Even as her tears flow down and everything seems in vain.
   
   Help her God, for she needs you and as she stumbles into your arms, may she know God, you will keep her safe from all harm. Thank you God for reaching down and taking her by the hand. And she will always know that she can trust in you when she can't trust in man. Thank you God for raising her up and for you she will rise and stand. And she will know and feel your love and never feel alone again.
