Have you ever called in sick when you were not?
Did it come back to haunt you?
When I was 18, I worked for a bank and it seems every Monday morning, after a nice weekend, I was "sick" and called in. It came back to haunt me when I applied for another job and they told me they would hire me but that they almost didn't because I was absent so often from the other job.
I cleaned up my act from that moment on.
I did actually. That was when I wanted to go for an interview. I didn't feel remorse or anything because my employer at that time didn't take care of its employee's welfare.
We worked hard everyday and always did overtime without any pay. We knew that the company was making money but at the end of the year, we were just being told that the economy was not good and we just had to work harder in the coming year.

Yes, I called them mental health days and no haunting allowed.
I think I only ever did it once in my life. Monday morning were always hard to get up for. The only problems is the next day, everybody was asking after how you were....
yeah once in a while, to take care of other business quickly.
Yes I have - usually only when it is serious family stuff but the guilt trip lasts for weeks! I hate doing it. But when all is said and done my family come first. Up till now, and I've been working for 30 years now, it hasn't come back to haunt me, maybe because I'm not off sick that often anyway.

Have you ever worked with a government agency? What did you think of it?Some people hate working with government agencies, some like it. I have a lot of contacts, but am not sure whether to really go for it or not.
