What does your pen name mean and why did you choose it?

Well My pen name is bellawritter23!

Bella as we all know Beautiful in Italian....My grandfather would call me his niƱa bella, so it kind of stuck as I grew.

Writter.... with a double tt because hubpages would not allow me to duplicate a pen name that already existed with one T.

23 being the day I was born

So there is my history on how my pen name was developed. How about yours?

My real name is David Albert John. I was abandon as a child in Pakistan. At the age of 13 I was adopted my an Italian couple that worked in Pakistan at the time (they had a son and I used to play with him and they grow found of me).

When time came to move to Italy I opted to take something from my culture. In Pakistan, the children have the given name followed by their father's first name followed by the family name. Well, since I was an orphan and did not have a family, I picked the name Albert to honour the priest at the orphanage where I was taken (I stayed there until I was 8 yrs old). I choose my last name to be John because I was told that as an infant, I was found by a man name John and brought to the orphanage.

Now to your original question, My first "real" job took me all over the world and I became a good friends with a young man from Egypt. When I travel in Arabic speaking countries I go by "Daouad" this is literal translation on the name David. My Egyptian friend (he is like a brother to me and I am still in touch with him to this day) would call me daouady. In Arabic when you add a "y" at the end you are say "my". So he used to call me "MY David" and that is why my use it, it gives me a sense of belonging.

I moved to USA in 1992 and he is the one that made it possible for me to move here and I lived with him and his wife is San Fransisco for a year.

I am flattered that anyone would have any interest in knowing anything about me. Thank you!

    David

My real name is very common and there are already four authors that I know of who write with that name.

Pamela is my real name and my favorite color is red. One time a blogger called me Pamela in red and it kind of stuck. I now use Pamela N Red as my pseudonym.

I use this one because of the type of hubs I create but my main one, TrueBlueWriter, is heavily influenced by my college. We're usually called blue blooded by other schools because of my schools color in intercollegiate competitions.

Mine is the protagonist's name of the first manuscript I wrote. Pretty much a Conan rip-off when I was 14, so it'll never see the light of day. But it was fun to write and I still look for the opportunity to come up with outlandish fight scenes, so I try not to forget why I started writing.

I'm an obsessive writer and spend my time writing for many sites, books, blogs, etc. I chose WordSpiller since it represents opening yourself up and just letting the words spill out...then hopefully making sense of them! ;-)

Hi Bellawritter23 with 2 T's-- My name was chosen at the last moment when i signed up-I wanted something unique to me-a name that would tell you what you were getting before you got there-kind of like a warning- my friends would always say "my  thoughts were deep"  I know when I get involved in something -wether its a relationship, cutting hair, gardening or writing- I put myself right smack in that moment- I focus completly-and sometimes-I just get a little bit  IN2Deep with my thoughts. So it was the perfect name for me. Thanks for asking

I'm saving my real name for when I start publishing novels (or so I say, but having a first and last name each with two syllables is hardly an ideal name for an author).

Clinging to that excuse and the fact I know too many people who can commit horrendous acts with as little information as a full name, I use my middle name and one syllable of my surname as my pen name. For now, at least.

If you mean "Butch News" then it's my core identity on the internet these days.  It's an extension of my nickname "Butch" and Butch News is part of my Butch Network of sites.

    Google: Butch News

There is no way you won't find me that way.

I have the Butch News stamp all over the place.

My pen name is really who I am,and my picture is in 3-D but it is also my correct image.I was predestine to fulfill the words of the Angel to the Prophet Daniel,in Daniel 12 V 4 ,OF,...not a MATERIAL increase, but a SPIRITUAL REVELATION beyond technology and SCIENTIFIC equations.

My middle name is Angeline (the i pronounced with long vowel sound). My big sis would call me "angel" when she wanted something, and I also feel it is part of my call to do the work of "angels",---to give and serve inconspicuously. 709 is my birthday.

    ~Great Question,
    ~Blessings

my pen name is peachpurple. I decided to use this name because my toddler loves 2 colors- peach and purple, nothing else. My name has nothing to do with my realname nor the colors i like. All these colors are my precious son's favorite colors.
