   No matter how well-researched and meticulously edited an article, unless it mentions pop culture, sex, violence, or money, no one will give a damn. And don't bother presenting your fiction, because no one cares. Trust me.

   Keep writing, keep expanding on the themes and topics that you know a lot about.  Use personal stories, real life stories that relate to the topic, and people will identify with that.  Also, you can always go back and improve the hubs that you've already published, and you should do that, as that will make them more favourable to search engines, and you can still get comments and feedback for something you published over a year ago.  The more that I write, the more that I think of that I can then write about; it's endless, and it's all good if you are sincere.

   I've learnt (in the past 10 days since I've been around), that although most of the topics are saturated, its not a bad idea to present the same topic with a different viewpoint as there are ALWAYS new readers wanting to read new content...so I should not give up and try to give the best I can.
   Another thing I've learnt is that HubPages is like a nice and safe community of like-minded writers who love to socialize (mostly behind their pseudonyms), unlike blogs which are so public, and comparatively lonely and you've to really struggle hard to make a mark - alone! Moreover, there is a lot of support from fellow hubbers, and the encouraging accolades are like cherry on the pie! Overall the entire HubPages layout is so nice as its also very user-friendly.

   Quality of the content is most important. Try to be the best in whatever you write. One good hub is worth more then 100 hubs that lack quality.

   I have spent time reading answers in the questions section...  I  have found  some people will give an answer that is very insightfull.  Other answers will be opinions based on flimsy truth.  I learned the surprising truth that many peoples beliefs are based on poorly thought-out logic.

   Primarily, HubPages is a daily great community and virtual home to me for over 2yrs now; I've been taught to be ethical and passionately write helpful hubs first(shortcuts hurt!), then other rewards will surely follow me. I love HubPages community.

    i've learned just how stupid my computer and his evil side kick dial up can make me feel,... hub pages on the other hand has been a cool trip for the short time i've been here,... i dont expect to make a dime, i dont believed i will be plucked out of obscurity and launched into stardom,.... its been nice conecting with fellow word junkies.

    I've been writing for Hubpages a week now, and I'm still in the process of learning about this site. So far I've learned that in order to be commercially successful, I have to write articles that are, to some degree, commercial in nature.

    To be a bit more humble towards other people i believe. I say that because a couple minutes ago i came upon a question that was belittling alot of the people who write on here. I think everyone has a right to express themselves any way they can and if its through writting why not let us be.
