    That's hard narrow to just one. Anything from incorrect facts to poor spelling and grammar to plagiarism.

    Wordiness, making the piece  too long.
    Poor spelling, and no attempt to follow basic grammar and sentence structure.

    I think the worst mistake is assuming that because it's so easy to get your words "in print" online that ordinary conventions in writing don't matter--spelling, punctuation, etc.

    Thanks for all the comments.  I consider plagiarism as the worst mistake because your  credibility as an online writer will be questionable.

    Definitely plagiarism. Writing is hard work, plagiarists are those who make fun of and belittle real writers' work.

    Not properly seo'ing it. Search engines are just programs so you must work within their structure.

    Not writing with your real voice.  I love it when I read something and I can really hear the writer talking to me.  Spelling and grammar mistakes are annoying, but I will still read the piece if I can hear the author.  (I'm ignoring plagiarism as not really being writing, but yes, that is a big lazy mistake!)
