Does linking your own hubs increase your Hub Karma? Mine is only 65 - help!

I feel like it's very difficult to link to enough of other peoples hubs because they're not really tailored to be relevant. Does linking your own hubs help? That way you can make hubs and then link them specifically and increase your HubScore whilst doing so.

I have been wondering the same thing.  Mine is lower than your karma so I bet it does.  You are right though, finding well written, relevant hubs is difficult!

The smart thing to do is share with your fellow hubbers, and so link theirs as well besides your own, because hubpages is all about community. This actually factors into your hubber score pretty much, so back linking other hubbers hubs is definitely key to the whole thing, also use them sharing buttons to share hubs across pinterest, google+, facebook, and twitter.

There's flagging options, rating options, and even a share button right above the comment section, these all help to add up to your hubber score as well, besides all the other hub acivities you need to paerticipate in such a posting into the forum area, creating them, writing great hubs, and commenting on them, as well as reading them.

    Good Luck!

Sorry Cloud, I'm asking specifically about Hub Karma (the number you see when you click on 'suggest links' on your own hub'. It says that linking to to other hubs improves Karma but I'm wondering about your own.

Have you learned what a RSS feed is? Have you seen the link capsule . . . by all means link your own Hubs.

Google frowns on linking your hubs to other peoples hubs as most of the time they aren't relevant.

Get link happy, after all Hub Pages will let you know when you break their rules!

If you want good Hub Karma, answer questions, leave comments (positive), read Hubs and ask inane questions . . . so you see your already a quarter of the way there!

But will linking your own hubs actually improve your Karma or not? I need a yes or no here.

Of course (Yes) it will . . . does doing good things for others and yourself improve your spiritual Karma, of course it does!

I'm pretty sure doing things that benefit you is not at all the way to increase spiritual karma... My Name Is Earl taught me that! Thieves do not prosper!

Then why would you even bother asking such a stupid question if you have all the answers?

So you think inane is better than quality? wink

Linking my hubs has been good for me when they involve each other. I do link to others as well but from my experience, yes. Link yourself. My karma is 90...not bragging, just saying, it apparently doesn't hurt my karma.

I link with my own Hubs a lot. Every Hub has links to at least a few other of my own Hubs. Some have lots of links. I use the linking tool, and if it gives me one of my own Hubs as a suggestion, i take it, even if that Hub is not related at all. I also use the linking tool to link to lots of other peoples Hubs. I am more selective there. I try to find other high ranked Hubs that are at least a little bit related to my Hub. I don't know if this helps my Hubber Score, but it doesn't seem to hurt.

What really helps is commenting on other peoples Hubs and questions. Do the Hub Hopping thing. If you find someone who wrote a really excellent Hub, comment, rate it up, and also follow that person if you like their stuff. Some people say playing in the forums helps. i don't know, don't do the forums much.
