Should there be a Hub Hopping criticism option?

I like to Hub Hop when I have a few moments, but it frustrates me that the only anonymous feedback you can give is positive; wish there was options like: promotional, under-written, needs citations, naive, or inaccurate fact.

well I guess I can see your point, but isn't that what the vote down feature is for? You can vote something down if it is all those things without the author actually knowing it's you.

I'm a sucker though so I've never used it. When I hub hop, I simply comment and vote up the ones I love. If there are any that I think are terrible, I just don't do anything.

Maybe those with more hutzbah! can use the vote down feature.

**and now I'm totally insecure cause you just asked this question after reading my edgy hub on GSA** tongue smile

I've not seen any hubber have the ability to give 'constructive criticism'. Most of it is negative. Some are even posed as questions like 'why are there so many bad hubs?'. good grief, I can't stand reading that. It's a terrible way to project yourself on these pages. It's no one's place to judge another hubbers content except HubPages Staff and Google unless that person requests another hubber's 'constructive criticism'.

I think this is why you can check for hub violations within your hubs. No one needs to know how a person really feels. I think the quality and overall experience of 'hubbing' would go down tremendously if something like what you mentioned was allowed krillco.

This site is meant to encourage people to write original content and improve their writing skills not react and become discouraged by 'negative' feedback.  Otherwise why join?

My point was to advance the helpfulness of constructive criticism, not simply rip people to shreds.
