When you first joined hub, did you ever think it would be fun, tough, easy or?
Please fill in the Blanks after the OR statement. (Have fun with your answer if need be, write an entire hub about how you felt the very moment before you signed up to hubpages.)
Before signing up for HubPages I was very apprehensive. I really didn't know if I could do it or not.
I was excited, a bit worried about how will the others find my writings because they was about to be seen by more people instead of what it used to be (only close ones)
A bit intimidating! There is so much to learn! I spent a month or so reading and thinking about it before finally taking the plunge. I've really enjoyed it so far!
When I first joined hub, I thought it would be fun, challenging, and therapeutic.
Nice answers Yvette, because that's what its become for me actually, and I thought when I first had joined it would be a challenge, but chance for me to shoot for the stars, since it had such rave reviews from sources I had learned about hubpages.
I figured that nobody would ever read my Hubs because my interests are so varied. Now I've gotten quite a few views and I am meeting some really interesting people, not to mention reading some quality Hubs. It's been a good first three months.
That's awesome to hear Georgie, I'm glad you found a way around that original feeling or inhibition. Hubpages definitely has some pretty cool people to engage with, and to network much of our works with. I also had a great experience here thus far.
When I first time I joint hubpages, it is a tough for me because English is not my first language. Understanding hubpages rules, how to get Google adsense, and what the topic should I write down, that all question that not easy to answer. There are some reader who mocking my English. But I keep in my mind that writing in hubpages is exercise to improve my English writing skill. But all of it become a fun for me because if someone made a positive comment about my write, it support and motivate me to write more better. I hope you have fun too. thanks
I really like your honesty Esrom Art, I think its a highly commendable accomplishment to achieve learning to write in a language that's not your own mother tongue. You are definitely headed in the right direction, I can only wish you the best on here
I was excited, but since my work schedule is more intense now, I cannot spend all the time here.
I thought it would be similar to many other blogger sites, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is very different. I love the amount of communication that occurs between writers on HubPages. I became addicted very quickly.

If I joined hubpages today, with all the accumulated knowledge I have gained, first of all:I'd start writing product hubs. Why? Well they earn on both Adsense & Amazon, they're often easier to write than informational hubs and once you get into the swing of them you can easily make them fast.So...

Why did you join HubPages?
by sarahsherlock 13 years ago
I'm just interested really. I have joined hubpages as a forum to publish my writing and I have little or no interest in making money at the moment. This might change once I better understand Adsense, SEO etc but I'd still want to right about what interests me rather than boosting a keyword. Is...
