    Google question

Is there anyway to find out why one day one of my hubs appears on the first page of Google search results and the next day it's nowhere to be found?

Google uses lots of different different algorithms to rank website so they can able to deliver quality results to there users. Those algorithm keep interchanging themselves so if your hub fits in one of there algorithm then you'r ranking boosts but as soon as google use another algorithmic factor to show results you are out! Google consider keyword in url, in content. Google also consider backlinks to ranks sites, H1 tags, long quality articles.

Ok, I didn't realise they changed their algorithms from day to day, at least not so drastically.

This is called the Google dance. It happens while Google decides where you belong.

Also...if you are logged into a Google account, you might see yourself ranked higher than you really are.

Also...please phrase your questions with something descriptive. "Google question" makes me want to punch babies.

You should just sit back and write lot of hubs. Try to cover the topics having less competition keyword. You will soon find yourself ranking the charts.
