A typical question of any new hubber.... I saw your hubs and there is absolutely nothing wrong with your writing, in fact, u write great.

Now, if lets take it from another point of view(Pls don't misuderstand my advice.. you are really a good writer and can excel within weeks here). For example, in your hub "The Meeting"(i enjoyed reading it), u've explained how you and your hubby met. But let us see from the eyes of a new comer to hubpages. Where/what should he search for to find that hub of yours?... think about it.

Next thing is the tags. Pls do care to input more meaningful tags which will help you in the long run. For example, i write about bodybuilding. so i'd include the tags weights, exercises, supplements, workout schedules etc etc... u got my point?. All related to bodybuilding. So, those who search for any of these terms have a probability to find one of my articles.

Now, about choosing a topic. Thats one of the most perplexing thing to start with online content writing. I really request you to read this article of mine... http://hubpages.com/hub/Make-Online-Money-On-Hubpages . Actually I myself or anyone cannot tell somebody else to write on a particular topic. I've mentioned in this article about writing down our topics of interest or those in which we excel, and then, to select a couple of those u think that will be having a good audience.

But i think you've got a taste on recipes. i've seen that hub on "Mexican Dish Recipe", its too short, so you can add "flavor"(...lol) to your hub by explaining how you felt about trying it yourself or how you improvised to your own version etc etc... so that grabs attention of your reader.... hope im making myself clear!!!.....

Make all your future hubs a bit longer(like 700-1000 words)...  and you're gonna do just great... By the way, im going to make a hub on how to get traffic "from inside of hubpages" which can attract audience from outside hubpages....

So, i think i did some help for you to get started with... Pls let me know if you need attention on any particular matter here, and i'll be more than happy to help...

Rock on.... Stay away from Tv...smile .... do good things
    happy to help,
    Aj.
