What do you think of HP's new wide format design?
It certainly gives the ad space more presence. I'm interested in learning your thoughts about this new look.
Genna......Well, I'll be darned. Linda Sue and I just exchanged opinions on this very topic.
I like it very much. Overall. In general. Know what I mean? The BIG picture is a very nice-looking change. Just enough. Nothing over the top
.I can be a bit strange about "change" (like most old people....LOL) but I am quite pleased with our new look.
Thanks for asking!! Peace, Paula
Hi! Thanks for your answer. I'm still on the fence as yet...I ran into some editing problems right out of the gate, but I think this is being reported as a bug, as we "speak." I will wait until the bugs have been swatted away. Good to see you.
Well Genna.....I was responding as to the "look".....because I haven't actually tried to DO anything. Good point, my dear. Who knows? Bugs always need to be swatted!
I'm as pleased as punch.
...Actually, no I'm not. It sucks. Look at this and tell me this is good design:

I and others are having the same issue. The instant I edit a hub, it shifts to the right. Visitors don't see this...only us, the author of the hub. It's awful.
Oops! Uh-Oh....back to the drawing board!.....
Hi Genna,
Actually, I love the new wide format design. The title is so much larger and pops right out at one, plus I also love that our avatar photo is moved to the right and is a bit larger. The best thing is that they feature one of our hubs right there to the right, which is so much more visible and interesting. Although there is more room for ad space, I believe the other features out weight that fact.
Blessings

I just loaded a wide photo from wikipedia. Sadly, it is as large as I can make it.I wish there was a way for reader to click on the photo and view the entire photo just as you see it in wikipedia.I wouldn't change the layout of the Hub - just give another viewing option. The photo I loaded was...

Here is an example of how content should be (on the left) and how it used to be (on the right.) Anyone making these changes? Have the changes improved the revenue or CPMs?

Hello fellow hubbers, hope you all are doing fine!!Over past few weeks i have noticed a few changes in the hubs format, while the sharing buttons have gone down (which is a big letdown) I have also seen one more ad coming on the extreme right hand side apart from the google adsense ad.I hope this...

Any tips for falling back asleep when you're wide awake at 3AM?

The current debate format is a farce and is nothing more than a slug fest that we watch. The moderators have little to no control over the debaters. John Donvan has a petition that proposes change the current format to the Oxford style format where the debates are done in a civil manner...
