I got a message from Google Adsense saying that I was not accepted to their program.  So if I am not accepted to their program, can payment from Hub Pages be made?  The ebay account seem to be driven by Adsense. I have gotten decent traffic for new hubber but nothing is active except Amazon.  So if google adsense is not approved is it even worth it.? Everything seems to be driven by this feature being approve. If I am not going to eventually make money, I dont want to waist my time. Could some shed some light on this for me?

I don't think it's possible to really earn from here if you don't have Google Adsense. Try publishing a few more hubs, and then re-applying for Adsense. Good luck to you.

I don't make much from Google Adsense anyway. I make much more from HubPages ads. You're hooked up with that, right? You get paid just for impressions of your hubs. I get payouts from HubPages every month, but after over a year, I'm still only halfway to a payout from Google Adsense. How many hubs do you have? Reapply to Google. I had to twice. After I had 4 or 5 hubs, they accepted me. Hope this helps!

Thank you. I will keep publishing hubs for a  bit reapply if that does not work then I wont waste my time.  Because the hubpage earning seemed to be feeding off of adsense.

Thank you Victoria, but in order for me to earn from Hub Pages the Google adsense has to be set up because none of the hubpages programs are active.  I did not know if there was a way around this.  But I will reapply when I publish at least a dozen hubs and see what happens.  Good luck to you glad you are earning.

Hubpages ad program is independent of the Google Adsense program. One does not affect the other.

With that being said, Google Adsense  requires you to have your own website... or a Blogger blog. Start a blogger blog, put some decent content on it and try again.

I must admit though I had a blog on Blogger for many years before coming over to Hubpages, and I still maintain multiple blogs over there.

You need an Adsense account to get paid by HP. You do not need your own website, just try writing some more hubs and apply again.

Or, you can start a Blogger blog and apply through it. It's been so long since I joined I'm not sure of the exact processes.

In the meantime, if you are an Amazon associate you can get paid by them for items you sell.

      From the FAQ:

"What are the requirements for enrollment in the HubPages Ad Program?
To opt-in for the HubPages Ad Program, visit the sign-up page and follow the step-by-step instructions. You will need:

To be enrolled in the HubPages Earnings Program.
      An approved Google AdSense account."

If it is independent then I must have something set up wrong.  When I go to the page that you set up the hub earnings it keeps informing me that the adsense account has not been approved and it seems to be a requirment for the ebay, and ad programs to work. When I get time I will go back and see if I set somethin up worng.  Thank you for taking the time

    What Uninvited Writer said.

Plus, a lot of hubbers have said they have needed about 10 hubs before they got accepted into the Adsense program.

So, write some more, then re-apply.

Is anyone here making more on HubPages Ad program for the past year? I ask since Adsense had decreased a lot because of their updates. So you do need Adsense approval before Hubpages Ad program.

If you are running HPads, your Google adsense will go way down.

Unfortunately the way Hubpages is set up, there is no guarantee that your Adsense will return if you disable HPads.

You just have to try and see.

Hi Savannah Lady, I see you have only 4 articles up here so far. That is a great start, but it's not enough in the eyes of Google AdSense. Get about 10 put up, then reapply. Unless there is some other underlying issue, you should be approved at that point.

Edit: LOL, I now see that Izzy has given you the same advice. Sorry for the repeat.
