I ask this question because, I was curious to know if uncircumcised penises tend to carry an odor, is that a normal thing or a possibility of something else. With that being said, how do you tell someone that their penis smells? I mean is there any subtle way to do that?

Its called smegma. Its the skin cells, lubricant, moisture, oils etc. It happens in guys and girls. In uncircumcised men it can occur more frequently because of the lack of air getting to the area. Thats why its important to retract the foreskin and clean regularly.

As far as a pungent odor, like one that doesn't go away whether they have showered or not, could be an STI but its just important for him to know his body and what is normal for him.

If it was my boyfriend who smelled I would just take a shower with him soap him up before sex. You can totally make it sexy.

If you just want to discuss it, just make it as casual as possible. Not like "Yo, your penis is rank!" but more like "Hey ya know the cleaner you are down there the more sexy and the more sexy the more I want to do things to you"

Same thing with vaginas that have an odor though. With both men and women its really really important to not only clean with soap, but make sure after you rinse the area is dried really really well, leftover moisture is what carries the smell.

    Next question please smile

It suggests a lack of hygiene, as was suggested above.  I suggest you run.  If you settle down with a sloppy guy like that, imagine what foul odors will waft from his loins as he gets fatter and more slovenly with age and domestic sloth.  Be like having a landfill in his pants that has occasion to desire your attendance from time to time.  "C'mon honey, how about a litttle sumthin' sumthin' for your dirty boy?"  MmmMmm, nothing says connubial bliss like stench of smegma and the sound of seaguls pecking rat-tat-tat on the windows of your boudoir.
