Hubpages listed itself as a custom channel, and even though I click it, it does not show up in reports at all. Is there something special I have to do to see my earnings?
Click on my account (found in HubPages Header between start a new hub and my profile)
Click on Affiliate settings.
This page should show listings to access earnings with adsense, google, etc.
If your computer is operating normally, then there's no reason for you not to view your adsense earnings. Simply from experience, do the following:
1) Log in to your "My Account" and under which are 4 headings: Edit Profile, Affiliate Settings, URL Tracker and My Photos (Beta). Click Affiliate Settings. Then, look at the extreme right column where under it are 3 headings. Of the 3, select and click CHECK YOUR EARNINGS GOOGLE ADSENSE. Once there, click drop down button: view today, yesterday, last 7 days, this month, last month and all time. All time will give you YOUR TOTAL ESTIMATED OVERALL EARNINGS. Here, you can view likewise your adsence CONTENT, FEEDS top channels, meaning your individual hub adsense earnings.
2) Another way. With computer fully on and running, type "view hubpages adsense earnings" on search bar, then click SEARCH. Various topics under will appear. Choose and click one you think is in answer of your problem. Topics such as, 1) google adsense income ...2) learning to write to attract adsense earnings ...3) 10 top tips for maximizing adsense earning ...4) etc.
Actually, you have to assign URL channels to track your hubs. Set one channel to one hub.
That is the only way you can track your progress from each hub.
You've no problem with the custom channel, but the custom channel isn't going to track your hubs. It's only a setup for the association between HubPages and Adsense.
You must create URL channels for your hubs.
Click on URL channel, then hit "ADD new URL" and paste in a URL for each hub. You must do this separately for each hub you create that has adsense on it.

Feeling slightly apprehensive and even a little guilty for having done so! Do HubPages earn a share of my Adsense earnings and what would the effect be if everyone switched to Adsense?
