I did this one time and now I can't remember how to do this. I am very new and saw that this worked.. Exp. The words love us are blue in my text. who do you do this?
You can't do any text highlighting on HubPages. You can make text be a link to something and that will make it be blue, but then you also need someplace for those words to link.
And the controls to do so are built right in to the text capsule.
How do you do that? Where are the controls?
In this hub: http://hubpages.com/hub/Living-Daily-With-Christ
The words "love us" are blue
It looks to me as if you used the "suggest links" option and chose to create a few based on the suggestions.
Now "blue text" is intended specifically for creating "links" to other locations - within the text capsules there is a small chain icon (as in chain link) which will allow you to create these individually - when you create a link , you will get the blue text.
If your intention is NOT to create a link and you just happen to like the blue text - then you are doing yourself a disservice.
It would be best for you to use the "bold" option instead - just highlight the words you want to have stick out and select bold or "B" from the options in the text capsule.
good luck

I give! I've searched the first 3 or 4 pages of "Getting Help" Forum and I've read the entire Link's Capsule section in the Learning Center (http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/using-hubtool). That Hub, by the way, has a large number of Quick Links in it. How do you create a list of topics...

Have you had this happen to you? I searched for the highlighted broken link but I could not find one. So how do you clear the notice?

The blue highlighted word links in your text. How do you get them in your text?

Today I got a notice of a broken link in one of my hubs. I don't and have never inserted links in the text of my hubs! I removed the link and I would like to openly accuse the culprit of inserting links in other peoples hubs. But- It seems that even though that hubber has been here for 7 years they...

Why is it that excessive links to Amazon products seem to be permitted when they are added to the body of hub rather than as a Module on the side? In my naivety, I did not realise that this was permitted. Will these links survive when hubs are selected and moved to the niche sites?
