Actually I did. In about 2007. It took me over fifteen emails asking when I was going to get paid before they sent a cheque by mail, that cost me $15.00 to have the bank process.

Now, I check my earnings and guess what? I can only go back a few months to see what I have earned and no further.

I stil don't know how much I have earned. Try for yourselves go to your history and see if you can get more than three months. Actually when I wrote this the site was closed down.

Oh. Hubpages, what a leader in the 2.0 webisphere. Not ...

The sooner hp drops this, the better. I said in an earlier thread when this was all first raised when Paul asked what we thought about him  introducing this, I asked if they will pay on time describing the difficulty I had in getting paid and still received no answer.

This to me is another example of hubpages going backwards... fast.

My personal thoughts are that if a third party does not pay then I would join the first party in an action. It is after all a contract of service. All very simple really.

I will reach the Min Payout Limit within next few days. Do they pay in Indian Rs (same as Google). I have made the setting to get the payment by Cheque.

Pffffftt!!!!!!!!  It'd take about a hundred years, or at least as long as it took me to make an Amazon sale.

I did - but not from Hubpages impressions. I think Mark is at least well on his way to getting the payment, and Relache reported they are making her half of Adsense

Misha, did it take you forever?  How many sites are using them on?

      1. Misha profile image63
Mishaposted 15 years agoin reply to this

No, it took me a month or two - but I was using them on a site with about 150,000 views per month

SunSeven, I don't remember them paying yet, and threshold month was September

My earnings passed the $100 mark in October, so I searched the Kontera site for information on this, but it isn't easy to find.  SunSeven, I'm not sure if you were looking for this info or just simply wanted to know if anyone has been paid, but this is what the site says:

Our payment terms are Net 30, first week of the month, when balance exceeds US$100.

This means we send publishers their revenue by check, PayPal or EFT, the first week of the month, 30 days after the month that they have earned this revenue, when the account balance reaches US$100, unless a payment hold exists or unless requested by the publisher in their payment information.

For example, if you earn $40 in January and $70 in February, we'll send payment to you the first week of April.

If your account balance is less than US$100 at the end of the month, earnings over US$5 (for all your sites combined) is rolled forward to the following month, until the payment threshold is reached.

So, what happens if your earnings are less than $5?

That is a great question--I hadn't thought about that.

Are they forfeited?  I wouldn't think so, but ya never know.

I turned kontera off on my hubs. It isn't worth the aggravation.

I also turn kontera off of my hubs a few weeks after I started with it. Don't regret it for a moment My earnings were dismal with kontera and it was having a strong negative effect on my google adsense earnings as well.

I'll be getting paid for Kontera for October, and that's based on October earnings alone.  It performed stunningly for me.
