I have gone all the usual routes for promoting my blog - and I want to know what else can I do to get it out there?
I would definitely recommend using social media tools such as Facebook, Twitter etc. Also try contacting other blog owners to team up for an article and publish links on both sites. This way both your visitors can visit each others sites.
Hi Tara, good luck with promoting your hubs. I would suggest not just Facebook but sending a quick old fashioned email or text to your family and good friends to make sure they know about your endeavor. Let those that care about you the most know that you started this. Don't be shy.

Are HP merely just creating new niche sites and hoping Google will pick them up? or are they actively promoting the sites in the wider world of the niche the site is based on?

Did you wait until you had plenty of hubs and the ad accounts activated before you started promoting your hubs or did you start promoting right away?

Been here about a week ..wrote 4 hubs .. havent done any promotion type activities yet because im still learning about that .. and of course i've learned by observation, that when we first write a hub we get this...
