I would like to do so for my own self. But the point is, in many parts of the world even the food for human consumption is not certified organic. I would like my pets to stay filled and happy, no matter they eat organic or not. If I have to feed my cow, whose milk, I would be taking as food, I would certainly try to go for organic fodder as far as possible.
I totally agree with you, we cannot be sure if a product that carries an organic label is truly organic. But I still believe there are some labels out there which we can trust and we can find out if the organic labeling has been verified.
Organic has many descriptions. Companies are competing with each other to see who can get away with labels like that without truly making the expensive changes. The only real organic pet food would be meat and vegetables purchased directly from the farmer. Pet food contains many ingredients and I doubt all of them are untampered with. I worry more about how the meat was raised than 'organic', that term is just too confusing.

One importance of food is that it provide energy for the body. Do genetic modified foods provide an energy level higher than the organic foods, or is it the other way round? Just curious.
