Yes nanotech should be a job orientated course. You should have no problem finding a job in the nanotech area nowadays, but experience is vital, make sure your course offers a job placement or in college independant research. Employers love that.
I was offered a place for a PhD in the nanotech sector, (even though nanotech wasnt my course, i just did some related research), I didn't take it though. It's a very promising area so try get into it! If you like electrochemistry, physical chemistry, materials science, and any math oriented chemisrty or engineering then deffo go for it!
