Maybe, we
sit around and stare
at each other lol.
Seriously, life would've been
more boring than
this.
Thanks
Life would be just like 2005 (or whenever), before Facebook existed. Good marketing has a way of making people think they need something to survive.
Maybe a little less privileged in a sense that facebook creates a lot of opportunities for us. Its not only used for keeping up with long lost friends but it acts as a marketing tool for many freelancers and even businesses.
Despite that, if it didn't exist, we would still be surviving and we would have Twitter. So tweet it.
mine would not be all that different. I don't spend all that much time on facebook.
Young Mr. Zuckerman would be washing dishes at Joe's Diner instead of counting his billion dollars that he got by taking someone else's idea.
Maybe some of us are staying in Twitter, Myspace and the likes. But for sure, if Facebook didnt existed.. there is a similar website charming the people now.
Definitely life would be so boring . ..Facebook has a huge part of our social life. It helps us be updated on our friends status , Probably we will be left behind if facebook did not exist.
no different at all. social sites haven't changed anyones life, though many people seem to think they have. it's just that once people get things they think they can't live without them but it's a lie.
Facebook is just a website with applications. There is nothing special about it except for the hype it receives. We would be using something else .. Maybe something that yahoo owns
If Facebook did not exist there would be only one social media and that would be Twitter. Facebook is basically an online conversation that companies are now using more so than individuals to promote their products. Without Facebook, there would be less prying into other people's lives as well because of the open environment of online conversations.

How many of you use social media like FaceBook to attract traffic to your websites? What social media do you use? Is it worth spending time?
by Joween 9 years ago
Well the current hubpages UI is good, but I noticed websites like Facebook and Twitter had major site redesigns. So maybe, just maybe, Hubpages should redesign as well. And should be responsive? I guess, with jQuery animations, with flat designs, plus more complex and free hub visual editor? With...

What all websites do you use for marketing your hub ?After I publish my article, I post it on Facebook, Twitter and Pinter-est. What all website do you prefer for marketing your hub?

Hello fellow hubbers. I've been busy lately following people on Twitter hoping to gain followers for my marketing efforts. But I'm wondering if Twitter can help increase my page views. I doubt if my followers will ever click on the links I post. I wonder the same thing about Facebook. Any tip from...

Social marketing seems to be all the rage these days. What was once just a cool way to stay in touch with your friends is now the topic of college courses and high priced seminars.Does a success story really exist where a company with a virtually nill marketing budget launched a product or service...
