   How do you cope in a small home with a big family esp. for more space? Kindly share your experience
   
   I and my wife have two children ,10 and 9 years old girls. We stay in moderately large home,with three bedrooms. .
   Owing to some circumstances, three nephews and a niece ,ages .,sevens, six and five  have to stay with us.
   But it was a huge adjustment .We had to rearrange our home to accommodate these beautiful siblings.It is a tight squeeze for them ,the boys shave a room and the girls share a room but  they love it .To make  space, we make bunk beds, instead of sofas we put in home-make  cushions for sitting.
   We have come up with all kinds of creative ideas to manage our "stuff".

   I am from a big family, too.  We lived in a small three bedroom, one bath house.  At one time there were 6 of us there.  I slept with my big sister and my two brothers had to sleep together.  We loved each other and had fun, but BOY there were fights. We always had supper together, we each had to do specific chores all year long - they might change with the season - and we felt responsible for each other because my mother always  loved us.  We were not perfect.  We fought and bickered and laughed and cried.  It is a real learning experience to live in a small space with several different ages.  To this day, I shower and get my clothes ready the night before so I won't be in the way for my family.  I turn it into my time, and I felt that way as a kid, too.   I also have my kids do chores and we eat supper together each night to share our day.  Good luck!!  Great question!
