on my experience, when I stopped using treatment and cures for pimples, that's when it all went away. Some treatments makes it more irritated and worse than before

I think that's true of some treatments, but it all depends on your skin type (sensitive, oily, dry, t-zone, etc). Have you ever gone to a dermatologist?
My skin was horrible, so I was put on a daily antibiotic as well as an Rx facial wash. I have no medical insurance right now, so I've been using Proactiv, and it's been working pretty well for me, as long as I remember to use it...sometimes I just get lazy.

There are many factors to put into consideration when choosing any facial skin care product to use. You will have to consider your skin type first. Do know that the skin type changes with age, therefore, it is advisable to consult a specialist when choosing facial skin product that suits you today. It is worthy of note to constantly evaluate the effectiveness of your facial skin care product.

Acne is a common problem faced by almost all teen-agers and youth. They may occur on the face, neck, chest, back, shoulders and even the upper arms. I'm suffering from acne on my forehead and cheeks since teenage. I've tried a lot of products from the market but they are not so effective. Then from one of my colleague I got the name of Himani Boroplus Anti-Acne cream and I started using it for about 3 months. This is a herbal product and is working quite well on my skin. Hope to get rid of acne soon.

Acne treatments vary for skin types, and product brands. The best brands in my opinion are St.Ives, and The Republic OF Pink Bliss. If You Have oily skin, you should try exfoliating and cleansing. If you have dry, cleansing and moisturzing. If you have combination, try both. Both of these products, are cheap and work well. Check out my information acne hub, I hope it helps.

Maybe it was a coincidence and my acne would have gone away anyway, but it actually vanished when I started using moisturizing products rather than ones that dry the skin out. What I figured was; if I give my skin moisture, it will stop producing it, or produce less. It actually seemed to work - my skin was no longer oily, and my spots vanished.

I had acne bad for years and i hated it. Then i started this treatment someone told me about.

3 times a day i would take water as hot as my face could handle it and rub it on. This would open my pores. Then i would take a bar of soap and scrub like crazy. This dried out the pimples and made them shrink. Then i would wash it off and pour freezing cold water on my face, this closes the pores. Then i'd finish off with a good facial moisturizer.

    Honestly works very well!

I had adult cystic acne for many years between the ages of 25 and 40. I took weekly treatments from a skin doc who opened all the sores and made me look horrible. My face was always weeping and getting big new spots which were very painful as well as awful looking.  He prescribed tetracycline which controlled the acne somewhat but not to the point that I was without pimples at any time.
After I divorced I met a lady who said she was the oldest model in Atlanta. She directed me to a skin doc she swore by. He prescribed Vitamin A in massive doses from a mail order place,Bronson Labs. it was about $5 a bottle. I started taking it and within a couple weeks my face was clear. I've taken this for many years now, though I cut way back on the doseage after menopause. For cystic acne this works like a charm.

I think you need to find what works for you. Because some people have acne but also have sensitive skin, so they can't use harsh products that will irritate the skin.
Pimples are a result of bacteria that have penetrated into your skin. Try washing your hands more frequently and using antibacterial facial/body soap. And if you touch dirt avoid touching your face till you have washed your hands. smile

I have adult acne I got mine under control by not touching my face. Also i was using salicylic acid treatments on my face so I now use a benzoyol peroxide treatment my skin reacts better to it. Also you can use paper towels to dry your face off after washing it instead of a hand towel.

Not touching AND not thinking too much about it helps a great deal. The rest is regular cleansing, exfoliating, and eating lots of fruits and veggies smile

Sometimes there are several acnes on my face. I think avoiding stress and sleeplessness are good ways to acne skin care.

Pimples and acne is a huge part of my life and they make me really frustrated. But when I started taking in higher doses of vitamin C each day 1500mg, they've disappeared even when I'm stressed and don't get enough sleep.
I don't know the real relationship between acne and vitamin c but it works for me so I'm sticking with it. I'm done with other acne treatments because these treatments only aggravated my condition.
