I was wondering if I may have set something up wrong through google or with hubpages ..
I am showing Impressions on my google account... yet no click payments and i am almost certain I have had at least two or three ad clicks
There are certain policies of google adsense a/c to which u get paid. And also google adsense shows number of clicks after a long time when clicks are actually clicked.
I wonder if you yourself have clicked on the links. (cuz u are "almost certain" abt clicks)
Please never ever click on your own ads else you will be banned from adsense forever. And dont ask anyone else to do it for you. Adsense is very smart. It can detect your friends too.
So ...you are saying it takes a while for the clicks to show up ..correct??
and your also saying if I e-mail my url to friends , they find an interesting ad on my hub and click it ..(on their own ) this coud create issues with google ??
How long would this take from click to post with google ...on average ?
hours ? days ? weeks ?
Hey...... Wait a second ! are you making accusations that I would click my own ads ??
I am NOT accusing you.
In case you just email your friends and they click on the ads, then its OK.
But if they regularly do it, then google will catch this and ban you from adsense.
I have a hunch that it takes about one day for the clicks to appear.
I do not think that adsense bans click by friends. In fact adsense advertisers like it. Clicks by more and more friends may be resulted in sale. Hub pages encourage us to promote hubs via e-mail.

Not all clicks are displayed in AdSense account, besides it's possible those clicks occured on ads displayed on part of Hubpages impressions share (remember that HP takes about 40% of all impressions). If you have impressions, then you will get clicks. It depends on how relevant are ads and how many people visit your hubs.
Most likely the only thing going on is that you are impatient.
HubPages has stated repeatedly that the average earnings tend to be $2-$5 per thousand visitors.

I have been a bit puzzled about the way Google Adsense pays. There is reference to page impressions and clicks. I know that clicks get paid for at various rates, but I am not sure about impressions. Does the number of page impressions bring in any revenue. For example, some of my articles get...

I am pretty new to hubpages, and I hear that a lot of people make money off of adsense and amazon, but I have heard almost nothing about Kontera. Is anyone using this or making any moeny from it? Is it worth my time?

Here's something for you guys to consider, and I am simply reiterating a comment I made on another post. You need organic traffic to your Hubs! Why? If you are using adsense, or any other monetization method on Hubpages, you will not, I repeat, you will NOT get credit for clicks on your ads from...

First off, I reached 1/2 of my payout today, so that is very exciting! Thank you all for the advice so far, but I am in need of more. I am a little concerned, because I earned from two clicks this morning from a very low traffic hub. I thought that was really weird when I saw how much I had earned...
