We have to wonder if anyone is listening. The president certainly isn't as popular as he used to be.

We have to wonder if anyone is buying the sputtering message of chagrin!!  I hope not.  I have no sympathy for a President who got himself elected on hoorah but now admits he might not have been up for the job -- just my interpretation of his NYT answers and his actions over the past several months.

Obama is trying to distance himself -- for the next two years would be the plan -- from the "tax and spend Liberal Democrats" he sort of accidentally became, haha, and does anyone really think he can pretend to be a centrist, pull a Clinton, which was Clinton authentically, and get a wham of an electorate behind him in two years if he dumps his diehard Dems and points the finger?  What a joke, of the worst sort on America  --

--pretty much his own words per the NY Times.  How many American voters are interested in "tax and spend" politicians of any ilk?  The ones that depend on the guv'ment for food and a monthly pay check for doing nothing?  Or the ones that fall for that $10K in education benefits he spouted off about today with zero details or comparison to the many many years prior when Pell Grants have  been alive and well without some lib Dem tax BS.  Ra Boston, harrumph.  Leave it to Beaver.

My mom went with a friend to see him in Boston yesterday.
She is aware enought to know the absolute historical significance and huge turning point this was for our country.
She said the place was packed, and it spilled over into the hallways.
She told me, "When I saw him running up to the podium with that big smile, waving at the audience I wanted to cry for HOW MEAN people in this country have treated him."

...........That's my question. WHY? What has he done to deserve such treatment?
    ...........WHAT?

You will never get an honest answer on that one.Just a bunch of fluster and blubbering. err,ahh,uhh,duh...

I saw clips of his speech on TV...he had some GREAT lines! If only I could remember them.

OH yeah: D is for drive..going forward
R is for reverse, do we really want to go back?

NO, we don't. EVER again. Come November, you HATERS will be talkin to the hand.
