My Amazon earnings just exceeded my Google Adsense and by a significant amount.

There is hope to make good money with Amazon.

Keep up the hard work in 2011 smile

        Yes it does.

I've always earned more from Google and yet today I exceeded that amount with my Amazon earnings and with a good lead.

        It does pay off!

        smile

It is a lot of fun, that's the biggest hurdle many face, they don't just let go and have fun being themselves and writing in their real voice!

Best Wishes and Much Success,  Great to hear from you smile

Well done! once this happens then you know you are on the right track!

At the moment my Amazon earnings are fluctuating slightly, but still quite high and they will only get better along with my other 8 income streams that I'll be adding very soon!?

Thanks for posting this note, katiem.  I am still learning my way with Amazon, but am glad to say I've at least found success with AdSense.

    You definitely give me hope!!

Great you keep it up.   I've been making money from both Google and Amazon but always a lot more with Google and today Amazon exceeded my Google earnings for the first time.  It's exciting to make Amazon work.

      Keep on keeping on!  smile

Congratulations Katie! Glad that all your hard work is paying off. Because I'm from the UK I set my payout threshold quite high on Amazon (costs a lot to bank the cheque)and have just got an email to say that my first payment is on the way!

So I am earning about equally on Amazon and Adsense.

Nope just include amazon capsules in your hubs.

Include any products Amazon has that's related to your hub!

Congrats Katie, and to CMHypno and Mikey as well. Amazon is slower to get rolling, but for me it very quickly passed up my adsense earnings and has continued to do so. My monthly adsense earnings grow slowly. Amazon grows nicely for me.

That said, I've focused on Amazon more than on adsense. I need to get a better balance going there.

congrats Katie. my Jan. has slowed down with Amazon but hopefully will pick up again. I'm wondering, do clothes sell well on amazon?
most of my hubs so far are not product related, but I have some planned.

Katie, how long have you had your Amazon affiliate account? How long would you say it takes to get regular sales? I've been associated for just under a month, and so far nothing!

    1. katiem2 profile image60
katiem2posted 13 years agoin reply to this

amazon took me about four months.  Hang in there and keep working, it will pay off! smile  I'm talking a good montly income!

      1. WoodsmensPost profile image63
WoodsmensPostposted 13 years agoin reply to this

That's a respectable answer katiem2. I made nothing the first month and really for some reason I removed all my amazon capsules when I first started. One reason I was adding amazon products that weren't really related to my hubs. With further research here I managed to vamp my hubs and began getting sales in the second month. The 3rd month was 3x the second months earnings. My 4th month (December) was 4x my 3rd months earnings. This month my 5th month I have already past December earnings and working on the 7% affiliate fee. Now katiem2 you have 3x as many hubs as me so I can only imagine your success is probably more than 3x my earnings. Basically if you write hubs and add the amazon capsules with relevant products eventually sales will increase and amazon does pay off !!!!

        Congrats katiem2 !!!!!

This is true.  At first, like you, I was missing the point of good Amazon products.  It took me a while to get familar with Amazon products and then picking and placing the right products in the right place.

I'm very pleased with the amount of money I'm making from Amazon!

PLUS, I continue to edit and improve my hubs.  Great to hear you're doing well.  You got off to a great start and I'm sure will increase your earnings.  It just keeps getting better.

          smile
