For the first time I noticed there were ads displayed on the upper right - a premium spot for ads. It is chitika which I know nothing about, thought it was kontera but it is not. I checked the earning area, like others said, no place for us to participate in chitika. I wonder how much impact this has towards our earnings since we already share 60/40 with hubpages? With this ads on the right, my feeling is that after all hubpages actually may get 60-70% revenues, not just as simple as 40/60 on adsense. Why can't we be part of chitika? I have an 8 year-old gift idea site now I began to think about writing for it instead of for hubpages when it comes to gift ideas. I've observed quite a few good examples out there, they earn a whole lot more on their own possibly with similar amount of effort if they did so on hubpages. Ideas and experience to share anyone?
I was looking around hubpages to post this, I just don't know if it makes any difference where to post this. there's no special place for it anyway.
so if anybody has any idea pls advice.
I already emailed and messaged hubpages several times but got no reply still.
QUESTION:
HOW DO YOU GET HELP IF YOU FORGET YOUR SECURITY ANSWER. THERE'S NO AUTOMATIC EMAIL RESPONSE LIKE ON OTHER SITES THAT LETS YOU RESET YOUR PASSWORD.
And I've been waiting for this answer forever. So if you forget your password you're pretty much screwed as of right now it takes forever to get help.
Please understand I like hubpages and I'm not trying to complain but to get a helpful response.
What security answer? Surely you are able to successfully login if you have managed to post this?
Some time last year, HubPages announced that they would be doing some advertising experiments during their share of ad impressions.
We can only presume what you were seeing is part of that, and wait for them to report back.
I honestly think that HubPages is the easiest way to make money online. It's a great place to test ideas and to get traffic quickly.
With that said I have hundreds of my own sites that make more money. But I work a lot harder at it on my own sites than I do here.
So I believe a balance is best.
I agree hubpages is the easiest way to make money, especially for people who do not have any other online income sources. But hubpages definitely is not the place you can rely on to make a living. I will try to revamp my gift idea site to make it a content site. If it has unique content - content I write myself - chances are it will get a lot more traffic therefore a lot more earnings. With exact the same effort, no way I could make that much on hubpages, though I could use hubpages to promote my gift ideas.

I have 20 clicks just yesterday from an article about Amazon Prime Day and have at least 3 confirmed sales from my ads from people who followed from facebook and it is showing as zero earnings and no longer pending for the day. Has anyone else had this issue?

Dear Hubbers,A clarification needed at your end. To date, all ads were showing up, but since 4th July the ads are not displayed on Profile and Article pages. Is it because of any update?
