Dear Hubbers,
A clarification needed at your end. To date, all ads were showing up, but since 4th July the ads are not displayed on Profile and Article pages.
Is it because of any update?
Even I can't see any ads—on my articles and others' as well. They were showing earlier, not sure when they suddenly stopped. I can see only the word "advertisement" everywhere instead of the actual ad.
I posted below saying that I could see the ads. I was using Windows 10 and a recent version of iOS. I can still see ads using these systems. I've just tried looking at articles on two devices running an older version of iOS, however, and the ads aren't showing. I just see the word "Advertisement" with no ad below it, as you say. There does seem to be a problem of some kind.
Oh, that's strange; I am using a Windows 10 laptop and am still unable to see them.
I also use windows 10 and it's 5 days past, not able to see.
Yes Alicia mam, same thing with me for a long time. How can we address this.
Ads not seen in none of the browsers. And this is only for Hubpages, not on any other sites. I tried updating Windows. But how it works on all other sites?
but how cant i see Brandon. I don't even have right to change anything here. Can use plz help me out.
Is it so that you really see? on all pages ?
I checked two. You probably have an adblocker on. I don't see them when my ad block is on.
No, I didn't block any ad. Is there any way I can fix it on my system to allow ads.
I'm not sure how your system is set up. Ghostery or some other browser extension maybe blocking ads.
Are you getting impressions in your ad program earnings page
yes, I am getting views, Do you see all ads on all my hubs & profile page?
Impressions not views. From your earnings page.
Yes, I see them on all hubs that I checked, I checked 3 now.
Hi Brandon,
One last question, can you see ads on my profile page?
If you are seeing all ads on all my hubs, probably some blocking on my end.
I am just seeing advertisement text but no ad below.
Regarding, impressions I cant find impressions in earnings, maybe bcoz i have not linked my Paypal
Yes, I see the ad on your profile page too.
Thanks, Brandon for yourprecious time. It was working at my end, just stopped to see ads on my system yesterday.
Thanks for your time, you were very helpful.
Hi Brandon,
I checked all the extensions and ad-block and enabled them, still my issue not resolved. It happened lately, it was visible till 4th July...
The funny part is I am getting it only for HubPages, if I check other sites they show ads on them in ad space.
On my Hubpages, it shows just Advertisement text but ad banner don't show up.
Is there any technicality in it? Would be great if you can help. I have already raised issue at Team Hubpages.
If you see them on other sites and no HP, that's really weird. The only thing I can think of is that you have blocked ads on HP through a browser extension. But you most likely did not do that.
It's good that you contacted the team, they can also verify (if you ask them) that you are set up right to be able to earn from your ad impressions.
Yes, that's weird.
I didn't do any activity from my side except wanted to link Adsense and Analytics, but that has no relation with ads not displaying.
But if other people see my ads that means maybe my system, I presume not sure Brandon.
One more thing, how do I see the impression in earnings, I have not linked my hubpage, so I am not able to view impression data.
Adsensehas nothing to do with HP anymore, they use their own Ad program. You need to sign up for it and set it up from your earnings page before you can see any impression and CPM data.
If you have not set it up, go here https://hubpages.com/my/earnings/affiliate/ and click on configure.
Thanks a lot, Brandon. You were very helpful.
Apologies to take your precious time. I hope, I can message you anytime for any queries, if you permit.
Yes, I have to integrate HP to see impressions.
You would get quicker replies if you post on the forum because there are many others who help out, but sure.
Hi Brandon,
Firstly, apologies to ask you for clarification again.
Can you send the screenshot of my ads from profile page and hub article pages from your login of the following :
- desktop ads screenshot
- Mobile ads screenshot
Be sure to log in and when taking a screenshot to take your name also in it so I know its from the login
It will a great favor to me, Brandon.
If you can do this one last favor.
SEND IT TO MAIL: fernandes.dan777@gmail.com
Danny, I just looked at four of your articles and your profile on my Windows laptop. The ads are showing.
Thanks Mam, is it showing on Mobile?
I am surprised why I am not able to see it suddenly. It was showing all the while, I never changed any setting or installed Adblockers or extensions, etc
You have to integrate HP Ads to earn any money.
Can I ask, what ads are you talking about? You talk about being able to see text but not banners. That doesn't make sense if you are talking about HP Ads.
Are you trying to add your own ads to your Hubs? That's not allowed and the system will strip out the code.
No, i am not adding my own ads.
I am talking about HP ads which were visible previously but now not showing here on hubs when we log in
I'm using Win 10 and Opera and I can see them. However, I tried Firefox and I can't see them.
Yes, Lisha too can't see them. I guess there must be technical issue. One of my friends told me that, it may be due to sizing of ad space. Not sure much.
There is a problem showing ads. Ads are not displaying on our articles.
I notice sometimes it takes ages for ads to be served but that may be just when an adblocker is turned off and turned back on again.
I checked on my phone last night and I noticed that the ads loaded after the maven recommended widgets bar. I only tested on one article, so that's not a lot to go by.
Lobo, this is from one of your articles. They are not displaying
............
Ads are not showing. It’s seriously affecting our earnings.
I'm also experiencing this issue as well, ads are not showing on my articles
Ads are not showing on my articles as well. And I've been having much traffic with only cents to show for it.
We are aware of this issue and are working on a fix.
Matt, the issue of ads not showing is reducing our earnings despite the increase in CPM. I hope this will be resolved quickly.
Hey Matt, has this been resolved as I don't see ads on my articles. I tried viewing them in Mozilla and Chrome. Was there something I needed to do to fix this?
I am also not seeing any ads on my article. Can someone help me?
Hi there,
Your article is way out of date. Ultra fast broadband has been around for a couple of years. You say the max is 30mb/s. Mine, in the UK, is anything up to 145 mb/s.
HubPages wants useful, informative, original articles of around 1,000 words.
Read the articles on this HubPages' network site to see examples of what is required: https://owlcation.com/
You can access lots of material at the Learning Center by clicking Help, top right.
So there's no point worrying about ads and earnings until you have researched what is required. And if you came here after watching a YouTube video, know that the guy lied to you.
256k, in some countries, is considered historical.
That's also happened to me, couldn't see ads in my articles. I posted it on the forum and the authors said that they could see ads on them. I contacted the editors and they also said that they could see ads, what I did was clearing all of the data of the entire browser on the setting and the ads back again.

I have 20 clicks just yesterday from an article about Amazon Prime Day and have at least 3 confirmed sales from my ads from people who followed from facebook and it is showing as zero earnings and no longer pending for the day. Has anyone else had this issue?

How does Google AdSense pay for page impression? I amn't clear about that and so I ask it? Would you please help about that? Thanks

Some people have said they've turned off HP Ads and just use Adsense and actually make more money from Adsense. I'm considering trying that out and was curious how much more some of you are making just through Adsense. Fifty percent more? Twice as much? Triple? Quadruple?

Okay - It seems there was an update to the definition of our earnings. I cannot say when it occurred.Basically we are paid for pageviews. One payment per view of article, regardless of how many ads are delivered to the reader, unless they back out before the first ad is actually viewed. Then we...

I'm having the hardest time trying to figure out Google Adsense. I applied for it, I was accepted, and it said ads will begin to appear in one of my hubs. In my account the earnings program is active and so is Google Adsense. The question is, do I have to do anything to add Google Adsense to my...

Adsense linked to my account, but no ads showing up?So I finally got my Adsense account approved and have successfully linked it to my account. I have an affiliate code and the status is now 'Active'. However, I went on my hubs and still see no ads. Am I missing a step somewhere?
