loved it -- even as I was thinking how useful most of it would be. . .

Saw this on Digg earlier...funny. smile I love Google, but I use ixquick generally 'cause I'm a privacy nut and it doesn't record your address or search results.

I take enough issues with the patriot act WRT to my privacy concerns and now I don't want even my neighbors/friends snooping into my life. That would be really spooky mad

Don't we actually kind of have that now?   smile  I've pretty given up on the idea of imagining any privacy at this point.

Most people seem to have different levels of privacy all over the web. eg On facebook for all to see, then paranoid lock-ups on other sites, with all sorts of avatars and profiles all over the place.....or am I just talking about myself!
I loved the Google machine of the future. Very creative.

I'm the same as you describe, but - ah, very clever:  Different birth dates on every last one of them.  Nobody will ever figure out anything about me now.  smile

Who says we'll still be using search engines in 2084.  By then, everyone will have had a chip implanted that contains every bit of personal information, medical history, financial info, mug shots, etc., easily readable via a special contact lens. No more fudged birthdays or hiding behind cute avatars.  Ah, the good old days... cool

Hey and when I wander off they can come and find me.
I'll be just walking around in a circle.
"This doe's not compute!  This doe's not compute !

      Shudder . Brrrrrrr.
