In frustration and fear they start wars
I think it is the non-believers or the atheists and the like who always start wars; not the truthful religionists as they have a peaceful code of ethics, morals and spirituality while the non-believers don't have any such code; in frustration and fear they start war with the Religion.
It happened in the time of Krishna, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad.
i guess you know too less about krishna , moses , jesus and muhammad...all four were anti religion of those times...so they can be called non believers of religion of those era...and they fought with believers...so it was believers v/s believers since both believed in their own version of god...got it or should i simplify...war is always started by believers as far as religion is concerned...for power well religion is one dangerous tool but there are also other tools...so war for sake of power can be done by non believer or believer , both but for religion it has to be believer ...
Got any proof of that?
So the Catholic Crusades were really started by atheists?
All the holy wars throughout history had atheists behind them?
Jihad is not based on religious grounds?
What wars can you cite were truly started by atheists, or even based on nonreligious grounds?
Please feel free to back up your claim.
I bet you can't cite any wars that weren't based on religious disagreements.
And this is not an attack on atheists?
How very convenient for you. However, the truth is that being religious has never stopped anyone from starting a war. In many cases, it has only encouraged them.
Not to mention, saying atheists have no code of ethics is small-minded and plain wrong. What a silly thing to claim.
exactly while stats of non religious countries shows far lesser crimes than religious countries which in turn implies that ethics , morality has nothing to do with religion and religion doesnot have monopoly about it...yes religion sells fears and can make person abide to their define morality by threat but that is not real thing..real thing is person being freed of hell and greed of heaven and still living life as per conscience and ethics...
as I read this smoke a little smoke by eric chuch pops into my head!!! Wonder why!!!
Well we all know religious people never fight over beliefs. Christians and Muslims are all the happy campers living in bliss with each other until the big bad atheist monster shows up to ruin a nice happy utopian playtime of the blissful believers. Jihad must be an atheist invention then

Are atheists generally happier people than believers? Many believers can't understand that a person can be happier without religion in their life. What are your thoughts?

I'm an atheist, and even though I'm a generally good person (volunteer at an animal shelter, nice to people, generous, etc.), I've been told I'm going to hell simply because I don't take part in any religion. I'm really not trying to start a fight or argument, I'm really just curious- why are...

Why do atheists preach against God but hate when believers preach about Him?Atheists think Christians are foolish. Well it has been a long time & God has not been proven false! I constantly hear them preach against the Lord yet get angry when Christians preach to them. This is the...

I ask sincerely. This question spiked my interest after an atheist, who posts regularly on HubPages forums, complained that believers have 'forced' (her/his definition of the word) religion (Christianity basically) on her/him, countless times on these forums.She/he also admits that she/he, however,...

This topic is old, I know, but I'd like to ask it anyway. Many Christians will ask an atheist, "Why are you here if you don't believe God (should it be a Christian thread)?" Some will answer, "Because I'm trying to help you see the errors of your ways. Is this...

It is my contention that the Christian religion (and specifically following Christ) is guaranteed to cause conflict, wars and ill will.As proof - I cite the last 1800 years - including the hubpages forums as evidence. Not only are these forums littered with arguments between atheists and believers,...
