I made an error in a comment I made on my own hub in response to a readers comment. Is there a way to edit this comment? It was posted 2 days ago.
I imagine you can deny the comment and delete it. Then write a new one.
With respect, Peter, I don't wish to sound pedantic but shouldn't your post be in the "Need Help" forum. Or made into a question and be in questions? This is the HubPages Knowledge Exchange forum and you aren't exchanging any knowledge in this case, are you? You appear to be just asking for help?
If the comment has been up too long to edit it (which is very shortly within the time you wrote it), all you can do (as far as I know) is "unapprove" your own comment, and then write a new one. If your original one was the last one anyway, it works out as if nothing had ever happened. Otherwise, your fixed comment shows up lower down the list.

I don't know if anyone has raised this issue here. Anyhow, I am suggesting a new feature related to COMMENT column. Now, we cannot edit our comments after five minutes since we wrote it. We can edit our comments within a time gap of five minutes only and thereafter it can't...

Do you continue to comment on an author's hubs when you can't edit your comment?I just commented on a hub, then decided to add a sentence. My comment showed on-screen, but when I clicked on EDIT, I wasn't allowed to change my comment or even delete it. I can't see the benefit to a hub author in...

Ok. Yesterday, I received a very derogatory comment on one of my hubs. The reader pinpointed one comment, an alternative, that I mentioned, and disregarded the entire article. I did approve the comment, and made my own, should I have just deleted it?Here's the hub. Your suggestions...
