Cost us 2 million dollars-- which is almost nothing, when talking about government spending-- but, heck, I would have done it for $100.

Did you know that back in the 1800's the standard nutritional advice was to "eat no more than four  pounds of food per day, with only one pound being meat" ? And the government didn't care.

In 1800 there were no Twinkies, Doritos or Baskin Robbins tempting Americans away from their pound of meat smile.
Things have gotten way too complicated now.
How do we reinstill common sense??

I don't know. Maybe we could show people a two million dollar plate logo with different colored sections on it. big_smile

How to stop all that producers from producing all those twinkies, Doritos, baskets of craps and cans of chemicals for our children? That's the biggest question. Any ideas?

We stop buying them and they will stop producing.

But the whole thing is in response to trends in the entire population.  Most of whom, myself included eat too much over-processed food.

if the suggestion is that we stop buying them we need a very clear public communications platform called something like... my plate...? And the 2 mill is for the whole campaign.  These days even just a website optimized for heavy traffic can cost a fair bit.
