         if its what they call "sativa" - it could have an awful affect on you - make you sick, pass out, or do things you wouldn't otherwise do and maybe get in trouble -  I wouldn't smoke or injest anything at all unless I had researched it and knew EXACTLY what it was and that I was using it properly for the proper reasons.  Herbs can be great remedies - but if you're wanting to experiment "recreationally"  why?  and why get blitzed at all in the first place?  examine your motives - see what you think "fun" really is - don't take chances with your mind and body - they are precious and don't deserve to be treated like beach balls.  really.  end of grandma's lecture

   Well, as many of them are remiss in listing the "herbs" used, I'll let you know...
   
   Coltsfoot:  Contains chemicals that destroy the liver in moderate amounts when taken in tea form.  Smoking delivers the chemicals directly into the lungs in high amounts.  Using the TEA more than twice a day for a max of three days is a no no.
   
   Mullen: Generally considered safe when consumed by mouth in tea or capsule form for short periods of time.  The leaves and stems, however, are skin irritants that double effect mucous membranes-like the ones in lungs.  They form a sticky tarry smoke when burned... great for the old respitory system.  BTW, they distill mullen for fish poison.
   
   Mugwort-and I really love this one--induces miscarriage.  It can also severely mess up a women's menstrual cycle and there is some evidence that it may reduce the effectiveness of birth control pills.
   
   But you are right, these herbs have all been used for smoking and incense in traditional druidic and native american culture for centurys.  During ceremonies, when only one or two puffs were taken during significant holidays.   They were never meant for daily or even weekly use.
   
   In addition, I lack confidence in any product that doesn't list ingredients.  Never mind the source of the herbs, pesticides, fertilizers or- God forbid- if they were wild crafted the surety of which herb is actually gotten.  There are many "herbs" that will kill you outright within 15 minutes if you try to smoke them.
   
   Just smoke the pot... it's probably safer.
